MeTeOR2: The Meniscal Transplant surgery or Optimised Rehabilitation full randomised trial
Principal Investigator: Mr Andrew Legg
Sponsor: University of Warwick
The meniscus is an important structure within the knee. Patients that have damaged their meniscus and had removal of their meniscus are more likely to develop persistent pain after this resulting in years of disability. This study will compare two treatments for patients with total meniscectomy - personalised knee physiotherapy or meniscal transplant.

RaCeR 2
Principal Investigator: Mr Kingsley Paul Draviaraj
Sponsor: University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust
The primary aim of the study is to assess whether (early) patient-directed rehabilitation results in less shoulder pain and disability at 12 weeks after surgical repair of full thickness tears of the rotator cuff compared to current standard (delayed) rehabilitation.
