Sponsor: University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
This study will report the timing, frequency and clinical severity of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection in children under 2 years of age presenting to paediatric hospitals in the UK and Ireland. It will also look at the proportion of those hospitalised with RSV whose mothers were eligible for RSV vaccination and did/did not receive this, alongside demographic factors associated with those who did/did not receive maternal RSV vaccination.
